Two riders died after their motorcycles collided on the evening of June 25 in Pavia, Iloilo.
Police identified the victims only by their aliases: June, 36, a civil engineer from Barangay Amparo, Pavia, and Fritz, 26, of Barangay Balabag, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
Reports said June was on his way home from Iloilo City when the crash occurred.
While navigating Barangay Mali-ao on a Kawasaki Bajaj at around 8:06 p.m., he allegedly veered into the opposite lane and collided with Fritz’s Yamaha Sniper motorcycle.
June, who was not wearing a helmet, was rushed to Asia Pacific Medical Center – Iloilo but died an hour later.
Fritz was brought to Western Visayas Sanitarium and General Hospital in Sta. Barbara but was declared dead around 1 a.m. on June 26.
