Two riders perished after their motorcycle crashed into a wall in Arevalo, Iloilo City early morning of August 15, 2022.
Police identified the victims as driver Raymart Dondoyano, 25, and his back rider, Ryan Tolentino, 22, both residents of Barangay Dulonan, Arevalo district.
Lieutenant Colonel Marlon Valencia, Iloilo City Police Office-Traffic Enforcement Unit (ICPO-TEU) chief, said the incident happened 12:30 a.m. Monday after the two victims left a convenience store.
They were on their way home from the district’s public plaza when they rammed into a concrete wall.
It was believed that both riders were drunk when the incident happened.
Valencia said both victims suffered head injuries.
They were rushed to Western Visayas Medical Center but were declared dead on arrival.
