BACOLOD City – Two men died after they figured in a motorcycle road accident at Barangay Sagwa Banwa, Valladolid, Negros Occidental last week.
Captain Wilfredo Benoman Jr., head of Valladolid Municipal Police Station, identified the victims as Carlito Asotingue, 62, of the said village; and Joemarie Rafil, 45, of Barangay Alijis.
Benoman said Rafil allegedly crashed into Asotingue’s motorcycle around 5:45 pm Thursday.
Benoman said Rafil expired at Bago City Hospital after almost an hour, while Asotingue was transferred to a private hospital here where he also later expired.
