BACOLOD City – Four persons, including two minors were arrested for allegedly engaging in illegal drug trade here and in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental last Tuesday.
The two male minors aged 15 and 17 were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Barangay 1 here.
Personnel of Police Station 2 seized from them 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P47,600, and the P500 marked money.
The minors were endorsed to Social Development Center.
In La Carlota City, fish vendor Jomar Jalandoni, 37, of Barangay Batuan, was arrested in another drug bust at the said village.
Police confiscated from him three sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,800, and the P1,000 marked money.
Another buy-bust was also conducted by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU)-6 in the said city at Barangay 1, which resulted in the apprehension of Ian Erwin Nolasco, 36, of Barangay 2.
Recovered from him were seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams worth P102,000, the P15,000 marked money, P300, drug paraphernalia.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Jonel Guadalupe, city police chief, said that both suspects are identified as street level individuals.
