BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested and about 110 grams of suspected shabu worth P748,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation at Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12 here last Saturday.
Police collared Gomer Beloya, 46, of the said village, a high value individual; and Melvin Generoso, 41, of Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Confiscated from them were 22 sachets of suspected shabu, the P1,000 marked money, and P12,000 boodle money.
Both are detained at Police Station 6.
Meanwhile, in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, three persons were arrested after police confiscated from them about one gram of suspected shabu worth P6,800.
According to the police, these persons, who were riding a tricycle evaded the Commission on Elections (Comelec) checkpoint in Barangay Enclaro last Saturday.
A brief chase followed until they were cornered by the police, wherein two of them were allegedly caught with three sachets of suspected shabu.
