BACOLOD City – Two employees of a cigarette firm were robbed by unidentified perpetrators on the highway of Sitio Cambugui-ot, Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental last Monday.
Based on a police report, the victims were dealing their cigarette products to a store owner when two robbers on board a motorcycle arrived.
The robbers then allegedly threatened the two victims at gunpoint and declared the heist.
The suspects allegedly carted away their sales collection amounting to P20,000, and a tablet.
Police are probing the identities of the perpetrators and if they could be linked to previous robbery incidents.
