Two lightning victims now stable in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Two people injured by lightning in Jamindan, Capiz, are now in stable condition after being released from the hospital.
Alias Jeff, 56, a vendor and resident of Barangay San Vicente, Jamindan, and alias Jo, 24, of Nayawan, Tapaz, Capiz, were released from Mambusao District Hospital two days after they were hit by lightning.
The victims were sheltering in a hut in Barangay San Vicente, Jamindan, Capiz, when the incident happened.
Their companion, alias Ryan, 18, of Barangay Siya, Jamindan, died from fatal injuries caused by the lightning strike.
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on June 13 in Barangay San Vicente, Jamindan.
The three victims were immediately brought to Mambusao District Hospital, but alias Ryan was declared dead by the attending doctor at around 3:14 p.m.
