ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Two persons died while another was injured in two separate traffic accidents in Capiz on Tuesday.
Leopoldo Besonia, 73, of Brgy. Kinalkalan in Balasan, Iloilo died after his motorcycle accidentally crashed into another motorcycle at Sta. Fe village in Pilar, Capiz.
An investigation by the Pilar police indicated that Besonia was on his way home when collided with the motorcycle driven by Vicente Pelaga, 67, of Barangay San Ramon, Pilar.
Both drivers were hurt but Besonia succumbed to fatal injuries.
Meanwhile, Danilo Besa, 45, of Barangay Culajao, Roxas City died while the driver of another motorcycle identified as Herbert Nequito, 19, of Barangay Ilawod Maayon, Capiz was hurt in another road crash.
Police investigation indicated that Besa was on his way to Roxas City from Maayon town when the accident occurred in Pontevedra.
Besa was allegedly drunk during the mishap.
