ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two persons perished in separate road accidents in Dao, Capiz and Brgy. Sibaguan here.
Bernie Fria, 20, of Brgy. Bungsuan Dumarao died after his motorcycle crashed into an elf truck at Barangay Angub, Cuartero.
Investigation by the Cuartero Municipal Police Station revealed that Fria was on his way to Dumarao town proper when he bumped into the truck driven by Ryan Dayao of Barangay Tapulang, Maayon.
The victim died at Dao District Hospital while Dayao surrendered to the police.
Meanwhile, a tricycle passenger died while the driver was seriously injured when their vehicle crashed into a tree Sunday afternoon at Brgy. Sibaguan here.
Police identified the fatality as Albert Arinez, 23, and resident of said place while the driver was identified as Michael Arinez, 25.
The duo was on their way home from the city when they overtook another car and later crashed into a mango tree.
