BACOLOD City – Two persons were shot to death inside a house at Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental on Wednesday.
Police identified the fatalities as Lori De Jesus of Barangay Daro; and Mark Anthony Booc, 39, of Barangay Poblacion 1.
De Jesus is an alleged informant of the Military Intelligence Group in Central Visayas but has been inactive since 2016 based on his Identification card, police records showed.
Investigation showed that the assailants barged inside a house and shot the victims, using a .45 caliber pistol. The gunmen then fled.
Both victims died on the spot.
Police recovered from the scene two fired cartridge case of .45 caliber pistol, and a fired slug of the same firearm.
They also recovered sachets of suspected shabu, and drug paraphernalia.
Investigation is ongoing.
