Two killed in motorcycle crash

ROXAS CITY, Capiz– Two persons died after their motorcycle crashed into a street light post Thursday morning near Island Hotel on Pueblo de Panay, Brgy. Lawaan here.
The Roxas City police identified the victims as John Paul Alvarase, 23, of Brgy. Lawaan here, and a 17-year-old boy.
Police investigation indicated that Alvarase was driving a Suzuki GSX-R150 motorcycle with the minor as back rider. They were about to turn around a rotunda when the driver lost control and crashed into the streetlight.
The two victims suffered fatal injuries on the head and other parts of their bodies because of the impact.
The duo died in a hospital around 2 am Thursday.
It was learned that the victims, who were allegedly drunk, took the motorcycle owned by Zepherine John Juanga without the latter’s knowledge.
