BACOLOD CITY – Two 21-year-old men were killed after their motorcycle crashed into a center island post in Barangay Villamonte early Wednesday.
Police identified the victims as John, a resident of Barangay Handumanan, and Wennel, from Barangay Felisa.
According to the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU)–Bacolod, John was reportedly speeding when he lost control of the motorcycle and hit the center island.
Both riders were thrown from the vehicle and sustained severe head injuries, resulting in their deaths.
Authorities confirmed that John did not have a driver’s license.
