BACOLOD City – A man and a female teenager were arrested in a buy-bust operation that yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 in Barangay San Teodoro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
Police identified the subject as Francis Tomona, 40, of the said village, while his alleged drug runner is a 19-year-old girl.
Police Major Randy Babor, town police chief, said that Tomona is the top 7 drug personality in the provincial level.
Thus, they tapped the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) to launch an operation against him.
Babor said the suspect was previously arrested for a drug offense.
Tomona is a high value individual, while the teenager is a street level individual, according to Babor.
He said they’ve been monitoring Tomona for quite a while.
Policemen also confiscated from them the P500 marked money and P1,000.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old college student was also apprehended in a drug bust in Barangay Alijis here on the same day.
Police seized from him 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000. He is detained at Police Station 7.
