TWO persons were arrested in separate police anti-narcotic operations in Iloilo City evening of Sept. 26, 2019.
Members of the PNP Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) arrested Narciso Rogan, Jr. and si Bryan Kandy Pabulayan.
Rogan, 43, of Barangay Cochero, Molo district, was arrested 6:30 p.m. near the Sunburst Park at corner J.M. Basa – Mapa Streets, City Proper district.
The suspect, who used to be an overseas Filipino worker, was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police agent for P6,000.
He further yielded 12 sachets of suspect shabu.
RDEU operatives said the street value of shabu taken from Rogan’s possession was valued at P42,000.
Two hours later, RDEU operatives Pabulayan, 27, a resident of Barangay Benedicto, Jaro for allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,100 at Simon Ledesma village.
When frisked, five more sachets were taken from his possession.
According to reports, Pabulayan was Rogan’s source of illegal drugs.
The two suspects are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
