ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Two persons were arrested in separate drug bust operations Tuesday afternoon in the towns of Panay and Ivisan.
The Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Panay Municipal Police Station and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) collared Doroteo Bigcas, 30, of Poblacion Tabuc Panay, Capiz in a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Pawa, Panay.
Recovered from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and cellphone.
Hours later, police of Ivisan town arrested Evelyn Versosa, 51, of Brgy. Pangabusan, Jamindan, at Brgy. Santa Cruz, Ivisan.
Versosa yielded three sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and cellphone.
The two are detained at the custody of Panay and Ivisan Police Stations.
