PRESIDENT ROXAS, Capiz – Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are expected to be filed today, April 13, 2020, against two individuals who were arrested in a drug sting operation on Holy Thursday.
Facing charges are Danilo Sogello, 48, and Lenard Borlado, 24, both residents of Locsin Village, Barangay Poblacion Swa, President Roxas, Capiz.
The two were collared by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) and Station Drug Enforcement Team of President Roxas Municipal Police Station near their residence.
Recovered from the suspects were 10 sachets of suspected shabu with market value at P5,000; the P500 marked money; cellphone and P1, 500 personal cash.
The two are detained at the President Roxas Municipal Police Station while the recovered illegal items were sent to the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.
