Two drug suspects nabbed

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in a buy-bust operation Thursday evening at Brgy. Banica here.

Jomer Durana, 33, and Wilfredo Agudo, 29, both residents of Banica were collared in the operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City police at Atila Balgos St., Banica.

Recovered from the suspects were six sachets of suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone, a motorcycle and P1,000 marked money.

According to Police Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, Roxas City police station spokesperson, they have been monitoring the suspects’ activities for some time now.

The suspects were detained at the police station while charges for violations of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 have been readied against them.
