ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two individuals, including an alleged high-value individual (HVI), were arrested Saturday in separate drug buy-bust operations in barangays Banica and Milibili, Roxas City.
Ismael Antonino, 46, of Brgy. Banica was apprehended for possessing 13 sachets of suspected shabu. Also seized from him were a cellphone, a sling bag, and several drug paraphernalia.
Around 55 grams of suspected illegal with a standard drug price of P374,000 were recovered from him.
According to Roxas City PNP, Antonio is on its drug watchlist.
Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man was arrested on the same night in another drug bust operation at Sitio Sumiga, Barangay Milibili.
Frederick Araque did not resist when the Station Drug Enforcement Team from Roxas City Police Station handcuffed him.
Recovered from Araque were 3 sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,400; P1,500 marked money; a cellphone and a sling bag.
The two are presently in the custody of the Roxas City police station. They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
