ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Two of the most wanted persons in Capiz were arrested in separate operations Saturday, May 9, in Dumalag and Panay towns.
The Dumalag Municipal Police Station arrested a suspect identified only as Toto, of legal age and a resident of Barangay Mapulang Bato in Dao, Capiz.
Police said the suspect was listed as the No. 3 most wanted person at the provincial level and No. 1 at the municipal level.
He was arrested at a relative’s house in Barangay San Miguel, Dumalag, around 5:35 p.m. May 9.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua of Branch 20 in Mambusao, Capiz, on April 20, 2026.
The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
He is under the custody of the Dumalag Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and turnover to the court of origin.
Meanwhile, a laborer listed as the No. 2 most wanted person at the provincial level was arrested around 9:33 p.m. May 9 at his house in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Panay, Capiz, on the strength of a warrant of arrest for rape.
Roxas City police identified the suspect as Toto, 27.
The warrant of arrest was issued by RTC Judge Sesinio Navales of Branch 15 in Roxas City, Capiz, on May 7, 2026.
The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
He is under the custody of Roxas City police for proper disposition.
