BACOLOD City – Four persons, including two brothers, were arrested after police seized from them 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Indian Mango, Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Police identified the subject as Karl Marlon Gebusion, 20, while his companions were his 18-year-old brother, a student, both residents of Barangay 6; and their friends Philip John Alvarez, 23, of Barangay 6, and Mark Jezer Gilvero, 26, of Barangay 9.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Alvimar Flores, city police chief, said all suspects were street-level individuals.
Flores said they subjected Gebusion to a buy-bust operation after some drug suspects who were previously arrested by police reportedly identified him as their alleged source in the illegal drug trade.
Flores said the suspects allegedly sourced their illegal drugs from Bacolod.
He said the brothers’ two friends were alleged runners, tasked to dispose the illegal drugs.
Also recovered from them were the P500 marked money, an improvised tooter, and P800.
