Two Brothers Nabbed with PHP 816K Shabu

BACOLOD CITY – Two brothers were arrested during a buy-bust operation early Sunday, Dec. 1, at Purok Neptune, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, where police seized suspected shabu worth PHP 816,000.
The Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) Special Operations Unit (SOU)-6 identified the suspects as alias “Burgo,” 29, and alias “Byong,” 24, both residents of the village.
Authorities recovered 120 grams of suspected shabu, PHP 500 in marked money, and PHP 9,500 in boodle money from the suspects.
Police Capt. Greeky Cayao, head of Police Station 8, stated that the suspects are classified as high-value individuals due to the volume of drugs seized.
Cayao added that the brothers were included in Police Station 8’s target list and were allegedly involved in selling or distributing illegal drugs in the area.
The suspects are currently detained at Police Station 8.
