Police identified the fatalities as “Dexter,” 45, and his older brother “Roilan,” 48, both residents of Barangay Sto. Rosario.
Police Major Jun Ray Batadlan, chief of Binalbagan Municipal Police Station, said the younger victim was fixing a wire when he fell after he got electrocuted from holding a post of a canopy that was attached to an open wire.
His older brother tried to help him, but he was also electrocuted. Both victims were declared dead in a hospital, according to Batadlan.
Batadlan said that the establishment hired the older victim for electrical works, but he was not a licensed electrician. His younger brother tagged along to assist him.
