Two Arrested With PHP231,200 Worth of ‘Shabu’
BACOLOD CITY — A fish vendor and another man were arrested in separate buy-bust operations that yielded a total of PHP231,200 worth of illegal drugs in Negros Occidental on Tuesday. BACOLOD CITY — A fish vendor and another man were arrested in separate buy-bust operations that yielded a total of PHP231,200 worth of illegal drugs in Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
In Don Salvador Benedicto town, operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) arrested a 40-year-old vendor from San Carlos City. Police seized 22 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP149,600 from the suspect.
In Silay City, a 39-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Guinhalaran, where police confiscated 12 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP81,600.
Police Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, Silay City police chief, said the suspect is a street-level individual under the barangay’s watchlist.
Police recovered PHP3,500 in marked money, PHP100, and several non-drug items from the suspect.
