Two arrested in P612,000 ‘shabu’ drug raid

BACOLOD CITY – Two suspects were arrested in a drug raid that led to the recovery of 90 grams of suspected shabu worth P612,000 in Barangay Gahit, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Police applied a search warrant for violation of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition against the two arrested suspects aged 47 and 25.
The search warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Leonardo Facultad Jr. of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 69 in Silay City, Negros Occidental on April 13, 2024, according to the police.
Also recovered from them were a .45 caliber pistol, a .38 caliber revolver, five ammunition of a .45 caliber pistol, six ammunition of a .38 caliber revolver, and drug paraphernalia.
