BACOLOD CITY — A man and a woman were arrested by police after being caught with 35 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP 238,000 in Purok Consuelo, Barangay Villamonte, early Thursday.
Police identified the suspects as alias “Toting,” 43, and alias “Elmera,” 36, both residents of the same village. Both are classified as high-value individuals.
In addition to the suspected drugs, authorities confiscated PHP 1,000 in marked money, a short firearm with a magazine, six rounds of ammunition, and a side holster.
The suspects are currently detained at Police Station 4 and will face drug-related charges.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) continues to intensify efforts to combat illegal drugs and related crimes, ensuring the safety and security of residents.
