Two Alleged Drug Pushers Arrested in Buy-Bust Operations

BACOLOD CITY – Authorities apprehended two alleged drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental on Wednesday and Thursday.
A man was arrested with 38 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP258,400 during a late-night operation Thursday at Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Villamonte.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Magno.”
Personnel from Police Station 4 apprehended the suspect for violations of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental arrested alias “Bimbol,” 45, of Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, on Wednesday.
Several sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams with an estimated street value of PHP60,000 were seized from the suspect, according to PDEA.
