Police identified the victim as Solmer Rivera, 51, of Barangay 13, Victorias City.
Based on initial investigation, a backhoe was parked beside Rivera’s driven truck.
However, the victim allegedly suddenly drove the backhoe and lifted its boom, which accidentally touched the main line of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco), police said.
