ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 31-year-old tricycle driver was arrested in a drug operation Wednesday afternoon here.
A buy-bust operation was conducted in Brgy. Lawaan by the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of the Roxas City Police Station and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU).
They later nabbed Rafael Abaracoso of Hermano Subdivision of Brgy. Punta Tabuc here.
According to Police Master Sergeant Ramel Arcangeles, spokesperson of the Roxas City police station, they seized from Abaracoso four plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, a cellphone, a pouch, and a motorcycle.
The suspect is detained at the police station while charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) were filed against him.
