Trike driver killed in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 41-year-old tricycle driver died in a road crash Sunday evening at Barangay Cabugao Oeste Panay, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Ricky Bocala of Brgy. Linateran also in Panay town.
Police investigation indicated that Bocala was driving his tricycle towards Brgy. Calapawan when he crashed into a Bajaj tricycle driven by Joemar Villanueva, 36, a construction worker from Barangay Linao also in Panay.
Bocala succumbed to injuries on his head and body at the Health Centrum Hospital.
Villanueva was taken to Bailan District Hospital for treatment.
