ROXAS CITY, Capiz Charges for violations of Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Explosives Law) were filed against a person who allegedly fired a gun several days ago at Barangay Sto. Rosario, Jamindan, Capiz.
The charges were filed against Edgar Llamo, 39, of Jagnaya, Jamindan.
Llamo was arrested Monday afternoon by the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) after he indiscriminately fired his .45 caliber. He is believed to be drunk when the incident happened.
Also, charges for violation of the Commission on Election (Comelec) gun ban were also filed against him before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
