ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A tricycle driver was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation Thursday afternoon by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Pontevedra PNP in Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Jomar Delfin, 34, of Barangay Cogon, Panitan, Capiz did not resist when police arrested him.
Recovered from Delfin were five plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and a cell phone.
The suspect is presently detained at the Pontevedra police station.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against him.
