The municipality of Jordan in Guimaras temporarily suspended all government transactions at Jordan Municipal Hall from March 19-22, 2021.
Mayor Ruben B. Corpuz imposed the suspension via Executive Order No. 19, series of 2021 after some of the employees of the Municipal Government were determined to be “close contacts” of a COVID-19 patient.
The municipal government will likewise conduct disinfection of the Municipal Hall.
The executive order mandated that only the Municipal Health Team and persons authorized by the Local Chief Executive are allowed to enter the vicinity in the duration of the suspension of operations of the Municipal Hall.
Jordan has 10 active cases of COVID-19 to date, including six that were recorded Thursday.
