Traffic aide, two others fall in illegal drug sting
ROXAS CITY, Capiz More or less P94,000 worth of illegal drugs were recovered by police in a drug buy-bust operation against a traffic aide and his two companions late afternoon of Feb 7, 2019 at Sitio Bangbang in Brgy. Cagay here.
Members of the Station Drug Enforcement Team(SDET) of the Roxas City PNP led by Supt. Dante Tayco, arrested Richie Val Jason Yu, 21, of Brgy. Milibili here; Jessie Anonoy, 49, a member of traffic auxiliary based in Metro Manila; and Mary Anne Pabalinas, 40, a parking collector based in Manila but temporarily residing at Punta Tabuc.
Recovered from the suspects were five sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 marked money, a cellphone, a black pouch, and a tricycle.
The suspects are detained at the Roxas City Police Station. They were charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
