Trader nabbed in drug bust

TAPAZ, Capiz – A 38-year-old businesswoman here was arrested afternoon of Sept. 7, 2019 in a drug buy-bust operation by the Tapaz PNP and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office at Barangay Poblacion.
Police identified the suspect as Joan Glumalid.
Based on the investigation conducted by Tapaz PNP, Glumalid was selling roasted chickens in their place when the operation was conducted.
Recovered from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 marked money, a cellphone, and envelope.
Glumalid is presently detained at Tapaz PNP. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against her.
