ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) here is tracing relatives of the 61-year-old employee of the Roxas City government who died Sunday afternoon from coronavirus disease 20219 (COVID-19).
The fatality was assigned to the City Agriculture’s Office and a resident of Sito Pagutok Brgy. Dayao here. He is the 40th person to die from the disease here.
According to Bong Saneo, CDRRMO chief, the deceased worker’s house was locked down following his cremation.
The daughter of the deceased worker was taken to the quarantine facility of the city government as she accompanied him to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) before he died, Saneo said.
