A MUNICIPAL hall employee was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation evening of Sept. 3, 2019 at Purok 1, Pavia, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspect as Brian Barrientos, 40, of Purok 2, Pavia town. He is a job hire working as a driver at the Municipal Agriculture Office of Pavia.
Members of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU) and Pavia Police Station arrested Barrientos who yielded two sachets of suspected shabu, and the P100 marked bill and P2,000 boodle or fake money.
Police Major Niño Leonard Amar, Pavia police chief, said the suspect is a newly-identified drug personality.
Barrientos was mum on his supplier.
The suspect is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
