This was confirmed to Daily Guardian by Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian, chief of the Provincial Disaster Management Program Division (PDMPD).
Caelian said strong winds was felt in the said village on Tuesday afternoon. Initially, no casualties or injuries were reported, he added.

Caelian said he could not tell if the strong winds was brought about by Tropical Storm “Pepito,” adding that “a tornado can occur even if there’s no rain, considering some factors.”
He said risk assessment is ongoing to determine the extent of damage, and the number of households affected.
