Top wanted man in Roxas City nabbed for carnapping
ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Police on Sunday, Aug. 3, arrested the No. 2 most wanted person in the city for alleged involvement in a carnapping case.
Joint operatives from the Roxas City Police Station, with support from the 1st Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested alias Roy at Purok 1, Barangay Libas.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Police Col. Albert Tapulao.
Alias Roy, listed as the city’s No. 2 most wanted person, was apprehended based on a warrant for violation of Republic Act 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
The court recommended bail of PHP200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The suspect was immediately brought to the Roxas City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
Police said the arrest is part of the Capiz PNP’s intensified campaign against criminality and its ongoing effort to locate and apprehend wanted individuals across the province.
