Philippine national team top spiker Bryan Bagunas is still stranded at B hotel in Alabang since his arrival from Japan last May 15, 2020.
Under the safety measures put out by the national government, Overseas Filipino Workers must undergo immediate testing be placed under quarantine while they wait for the results of their COVID-19 test before going home to their respective provinces.
To compensate for their waiting, the government tapped various hotels that were turned into isolation facilities that will strictly cater to OFWs only aside from the hotel staff.
However, Bagunas said that the swab results they were tested for were already delayed, adding that they were told the results would be released after 3-4 days.
“‘Yung sabi three to four days lalabas ‘yung result ng swab test at puwede na kami umuwi, kaso mag-seven days na wala pa ring update,” said Bagunas.
The 22-year-old star is also concerned about his hotel bill rising, being charged 3,000 pesos a night.
“Wala, ganon talaga. Wala naman ako magagawa kung hindi mag-wait lang talaga until na lumabas ‘yung results,” added Bagunas.
