PONTEVEDRA, Capiz — Police arrested one of the municipality’s most wanted individuals on the morning of Jan. 23 for a frustrated murder charge.
The Pontevedra Municipal Police Station served the warrant of arrest against alias Roy, a resident of Barangay Malag-it, Pontevedra, Capiz.
The warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 18 Judge Joy Rubi Infante-Guilot in Roxas City on Jan. 6, 2026.
The court recommended bail of PHP 120,000 for his temporary release.
Pontevedra police chief Capt. Dennis Losbanes commended the operating team for their effort and dedication in tracking down and apprehending wanted individuals.
The suspect remains in the custody of the Pontevedra police after failing to post bail.
