ROXAS CITY, Capiz — One of Capiz province’s most wanted individuals was arrested Friday afternoon, Sept. 12, in Barangay Poblacion, Pilar, Capiz.
The suspect, known by the alias Toto, 25, of Barangay Balogo, Pilar, was apprehended while staying at a relative’s residence in Poblacion.
He is wanted for qualified rape and attempted qualified rape and is ranked as the Top 2 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level.
The warrant of arrest was issued on Sept. 10, 2025, by Judge Joan Marie Bargas-Betita of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14, 6th Judicial Region, Roxas City.
The court did not recommend bail for the qualified rape charge and set bail at PHP 200,000 for the attempted qualified rape case.
The suspect is currently under the custody of Pilar Police for proper disposition.
