BACOLOD City – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Bacolod and Toboso Municipal Police Station in Negros Occidental arrested the most wanted person (MWP) of the said municipality in Barangay Sum-ag here Sunday.
Police identified the suspect as Mariano Baylosis Jr., 29, of Barangay Gen. Luna, Toboso town, a motorcycle-for-hire (habal-habal) driver, who ranked as the top MWP in the town according to a report from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo).
Police operatives served two alias warrants for attempted murder and frustrated murder against the suspect.
The warrants were issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 57 Acting Presiding Judge Estefanio Libutan Jr. in San Carlos City.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail for his provisional liberty for the attempted murder case.
For the other case, the court recommended a P200,000 bail.
