Tiza village has most COVID cases in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Barangay Tiza has the most number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in Roxas with 12.
Based on the data released from the office of Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, other barangays in the list were Bolo (9), Baybay and Lawaan with 8 each, Lonoy (5), Dayao (4), Milibili, VIII, III, Inzo, Mongpong, Cagay and Tanque with 3 each, Lanot (2), and one each in Banica, Barra, Punta Tabuc and VI.
The city has 78 total active cases including 69 that were classified as local cases. The number also includes 3 health care workers, 4 frontliners and 1 repatriated overseas Filipino.
Roxas City has 825 confirmed cases, 705 recoveries, and 42 deaths.
Meanwhile, the province of Capiz recorded 29 more cases of COVID-19 on Sunday afternoon.
Based on the data released by the Provincial Health Office, 21 cases are in Roxas City; 4 in President Roxas; 2 in Pontevedra; and 2 in Jamindan.
The province now has 1,529 confirmed cases wherein 9.81% or 150 are active cases; 85.68% or 1,310 are recoveries and 4.51% or 69 deaths.
