Three suspects charged for illegal drugs in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Three individuals arrested during a buy-bust operation Friday night, Sept. 13, in Sitio Solo, Barangay Tanque, Roxas City, have been formally charged.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) were filed on Sept. 15 before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office against Louxane Tumandao, his live-in partner alias Gardona, and alias Niño, all of legal age and residents of the area.
Recovered during the operation were PHP 500 in marked money, 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 30 grams with an estimated value of PHP 9,000, along with an improvised tooter, three cellphones, three lighters, and various drug paraphernalia.
Barangay Tanque officials confirmed that Tumandao had previously been arrested for the same offense but was later released for reasons unknown.
The suspects are now in the custody of PDEA–Capiz for appropriate disposition.
