Three persons arrested in Roxas City ‘drug den’ raid

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three individuals were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) inside a drug den Thursday night, June 27, in Purok 1, Barangay Libas, Roxas City.
The operatives conducted a drug buy-bust operation, catching Niño Corros, a tricycle driver, and his colleagues Rudante Lucenio and JR Locaylocay, all of Barangay Libas, in the act.
Recovered from the suspects were nine sachets of suspected shabu worth P100,000, P500 in buy-bust money, and several drug paraphernalia.
The three suspects are under the custody of the Roxas Component City Police Station, and charges for violating Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against them.
Meanwhile, two other individuals were arrested in a separate drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City Police Station in Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City.
The police identified the suspects as Jessmar Aboyo, 25, of Barangay Baybay, and Alejandro Barredo, 26, of Barangay Punta Tabuc, both from Roxas City.
Recovered from these suspects were four sachets of suspected illegal drugs. They are currently under the custody of the Roxas Component City Police Station.
