ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Three persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Capiz and Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of the Roxas City Police Station Thursday afternoon at Mckinley Street, Barangay 1 here.
Police identified the suspects as Arnel Urate y Belo 37, of Barangay 1; Mark Ian Azares y Llonor, 25, of Barangay Banica; and Jhun Ray Fuego, 24, of Barangay Dinginan all in Roxas City.
PMSG Ramil Arcangeles, spokesperson of Roxas City PNP, said that Urate was placed under surveillance which led to the arrest.
Recovered from the suspects were three sachets of suspected shabu, two cellphones, a motorcycle and the P1,000 marked money.
Arcangeles said the recovered “shabu” was valued at P13,600.
The three are presently detained at the Roxas City PNP while charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
