BACOLOD City – Three women were arrested while 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation at Purok Cheriza 2, Barangay 27 here yesterday.
Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) busted Emily De Asis, 42, and Juannie Villalba, 50, both residents of Barangay 27, and Michelle Abanilla, 27, of Barangay Tangub.
Police also recovered from them the P1,000 marked money, and P100.
Police Captain Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said that De Asis was arrested for a drug offense in December 2018, and was released four years later through plea bargaining.
Villalba was also arrested for a drug offense in 2014 and was released in 2019 through plea bargaining.
All three of them are street-level individuals, according to the police.
