Three nabbed for illegal gun, drugs in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three persons were arrested in two separate occasions Thursday afternoon, October 12, for allegedly selling unlicensed firearm and illegal drugs.
“Lito” (real name withheld) was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Sitio Centro, Paragon Village, Barangay Dinginan here by members of the Roxas City Police Station.
The suspect was collared after he allegedly sold shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P5,000. Also recovered from him was a .45 caliber pistol with magazine loaded with 5 live ammunitions.
Meanwhile, 3 sachets of suspected shabu were recovered by the Roxas City police from Wilfredo Dinolo, 58, and his son-in-law Jonel Daban, 23, both of Barangay Punta Tabuc here.
Also recovered from the suspects was the P1,000 marked money.
The operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Roxas City PNP.
The three suspects were presently in the custody of the Roxas Component City Police Station.
