Three nabbed for illegal gun discharge

BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested after they were allegedly caught firing their firearms at Sitio Sumbinco, Barangay Damsite, Murcia, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
Police identified the suspects as Eldegarde Ramatico, 59; Aldy Fernandez, 33, of Barangay Buenavista; and Clemente Delos Santos Jr., 51, of Barangay Salvacion.
Personnel of Murcia Municipal Police Station received a call for assistance after these persons were reportedly seen wielding guns.
Police alleged that the suspects were threatening farmers because of a land conflict in the area.
Authorities recovered from them three .357-caliber revolvers and nine live ammunition.
The suspects are detained at the police station.
