Members of Lemery and Sara police stations collared Delicana around 7 am Monday at Sitio Buri, Barangay Juaneza, Sara.
Delicana is facing a charge for rape by carnal knowledge in Criminal Case No. 2020-9585.

An hour later, members of San Rafael Police Station nabbed Christian Bangero, 26, of Barangay San Geronimo, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo at Sitio Iloco, Barangay Poblacion in San Rafael town.
Bangero is a respondent for two counts rape in Criminal Case Nos. 2020-9610 to 2020-9611.

At around 10:05 am, members of Zarraga Police Station arrested an elderly man at Barangay Malunang, Zarraga town.
Guillermo Telesforo, 76, of Barangay Guintas, Sigma, Capiz, was collared by the strength of an arrest warrant for statutory rape in Criminal Case No. C-11-1132-05.
RTC Judge Ignacio Alajar issued the warrant of arrest on May 30, 2011. No bail was set for Telesforo’s temporary freedom.
Last week, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) said that almost one-third of rape cases that happened while Western Visayas is on community quarantine were perpetrated by those who are closely related to the victims.
PRO-6 records showed there were 307 reported rape incidents from March to September 2020.
The number, though, is lower compared to 403 cases of the same period last year.
